Supporting Local Causes

With our Summer Season just around the corner, we are looking into the future at how we can support our local community going forwards. The serene countryside around Black Brook Theatre is incredibly important to us, and holds a certain magical aspect for everyone that lives here. We want to help keep this area of outstanding natural beauty just that, outstanding.

As such, we are pleased to announce our support for the “Save Our Bridge” campaign, which is dedicated to the restoration of the historic Boxted Bridge, located in the heart of the Dedham Vale.

Why Re Opening The Bridge Matters

This beautiful 1897 steel girder bridge is much loved by the local community. A known beauty spot, it is a natural stop for walkers and cyclists to enjoy the famous views of the River Stour from the parapets. It also serves as a vital crossing between Essex and Suffolk for light traffic going about their daily business or commute to work.
